Coronavirus

20th March 2020

Dear Customer,

Wildern Leisure Centre is following advice issued by Public Health England and directive by the
Government, whilst the school site will remain open for the children of key workers, the community
facilities will not be.

We have now been advised the school will close from 3pm Friday 20th March and this includes the
leisure facilities from 10pm.

We are taking the coronavirus situation very seriously and we want to make sure you can use our
facilities in a safe manner as soon as possible. We remain vigilant to government updates and we will
continue to monitor the situation.

We have already taken specific actions in the Leisure Centre to follow the UK Active Code of Practice:

We will be using this period of closure to carry out a thorough clean of the centre. Updates will be
provided regularly via our usual outlets. Upon re-opening please continue to observe government
advice before deciding whether it is appropriate for you to attend the Leisure Centre.

If you have any specific questions, please contact us via email: leisure@wildern.org and we will
respond to you all in due course.

Thank you for your assistance and understanding.

Yours sincerely,
Leisure Centre Manager
