The Rule of 6.


Following the government announcement on 9th September regarding the rule of six due to be enforced from 14th September, the Wildern Leisure team would like to confirm the following;


• Wildern Leisure Centre will continue to operate as we have been, we have various COVID control measure in place throughout the facility.


• All Wildern Leisure Centre classes are run in a secure COVID environment within a leisure facility, these classes will continue to run with the control measures in place.


• All businesses that hire space from the Leisure Centre are complying to the COVID risk assessments set out by the Wildern Leisure Centre and have provided specific COVID risk assessments for their own activity.

 

Some of our Control Measures

There is now more space in the gym to meet the government distancing guidelines.

Increased cleaning schedules to ensure hygiene standards are met.

Numerous hand sanitisation stations available throughout the Leisure Centre.

Increased cleaning stations in the fitness suite and exercise studio with disinfectant cleaner available.

No towels are allowed, but please utilise centrefeed with disinfectant from the cleaning stations to wipe down equipment after use.

Class sizes temporarily reduced to meet government guidelines.

Class times adjusted to allow for additional cleaning in between classes.

Floor markings and signage to represent and assist with distancing measures.

Covid-19 safety lead available to oversee customers and staff safety.

We’ve introduced a Perspex screen to Reception to help protect you and our team.

Delivered Covid-19 specific training and Covid-19 Risk Assessments to all staff.

Personal Protective Equipment freely available to staff and to be worn when completing cleaning tasks.
