Glenn Howes – Centre Manager

Favourite Gym Exercise: Gecko Push Ups!

I've been in Leisure Industry for nearly 15 years in various capacities from a Personal Trainer to Fitness Manager and more recently as a General Manager for the last 6. I have a huge passion for fitness and sport in general, however, the sport I love most is football.

Josh Shear – Deputy Manager

Favourite Gym Exercise: Incline Chest Press!

I always knew I wanted to work in Leisure Industry and started my career as a part-time Leisure Assistant alongside my studies at Eastleigh College. Once I left college I started working full-time in the Leisure Industry from Lifeguard to Duty Manager before joining Wildern. Outside of work I like to keep fit & healthy by running and going to the gym. I love football and played until recently!

Wayne Jones – Duty Manager

Favourite Gym Exercise: Pop ups!

I’ve been a Duty Manager here for the last 6 years, previously I worked at Wildern as a Lifeguard and Gym Instructor. I still regularly teach exercise classes here, helping people to achieve their goals whatever their fitness levels. When I’m not working, I enjoy kickboxing and bouldering.

Mitchell Cooper – Duty Manager

Favourite Gym Exercise: Leg press!

"I’m the newest appointed duty manager at Wildern and I’m loving the new job role. Having gone to school here and then getting a lifeguard job soon after. I’m a qualified swim teacher and archery instructor and thrive on the varied challenges and experiences that working in the Leisure Industry provides. Outside of work I love kayaking and helping out with my father’s charity organisation.
